9/11 Flag Raising Ceremony

| In commemoration of September 11, 2001, Leonard Middle School Jr ROTC Cadets, under the leadership of MGySgt Jon McCracken, will conduct a flag raising ceremony in front of the school Friday morning starting at 10 AM. The flag that will be raised has flown over the Pentagon and is only flown over the school for this special occasion. Civil services such as Fort Worth and Benbrook Police departments as well as area motorcycle clubs have been invited. All civil services and public are welcome to attend. Helicopters from Air-One, Fort Worth Police Dept, and Careflite will fly in. The Longhorn Detachment has been asked to raise the flag. Staging time will be at 9:30 at Leonard Middle School, 8900 Chapin Rd, Fort Worth, Texas. |
